Search Operation Launched for Missing Trainer Aircraft in Jharkhand

A two-seater trainer aircraft has gone missing shortly after taking off from Sonari aerodrome in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, on Tuesday, triggering a major search operation, officials reported.

The aircraft, owned by Alchemist Aviation, departed around 11 am with two individuals on board, according to local authorities.

Its last known location was near Nimdih in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district, as stated by East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal to PTI. Search efforts are intensifying, involving local administrations, police, and the Forest Department, extending into Purulia district in West Bengal.
