FANUC India Expands Tamil Nadu Presence with New Coimbatore Technology Center

FANUC India, a leader in Factory Automation, has bolstered its presence in Tamil Nadu with the inauguration of a new Technology Center in Neelambur, Coimbatore. Officially opened on July 10, 2024, by President and CEO Yuki Kita, the center marks a significant milestone in FANUC's commitment to the region.
'For over three decades, FANUC has been a steadfast partner to India, delivering tailored Factory Automation solutions. Our new Coimbatore Technology Center underscores FANUC's unwavering commitment to empowering Indian manufacturing and propelling domestic industries to global prominence,' Kita said. With approximately 5,100 companies in Tamil Nadu, over 2,000 of which are based in Coimbatore, the new facility aims to provide enhanced service to local industries.
Based in Bengaluru, FANUC India has been supporting the manufacturing sector across the subcontinent for over 30 years. Recognizing Tamil Nadu as an industrial hub, FANUC inaugurated a Technology Center in Sriperumbudur, Chennai last year. Since 2002, FANUC's Coimbatore operations focused on Service and Sales. The new 15,000 square foot facility, celebrated with an Open House event, reflects FANUC's dedication to the burgeoning manufacturing sector in Tamil Nadu.
The Open House offers a unique opportunity for manufacturers to explore industry-leading automation technologies, including CNC controllers, Laser CNC, Robots, and more. Emphasizing its 'Service First' motto, FANUC provides lifelong support through 22 service locations across India, including the new Coimbatore facility, to customers across five countries in the subcontinent.
