H Raja Named Convener of BJP's Tamil Nadu Taskforce During Annamalai's Absence

BJP leader H Raja has been appointed as the convener of a newly formed six-member committee to lead the party in Tamil Nadu, during the absence of state president K Annamalai. This appointment was made by BJP President JP Nadda to ensure the party's operations continue smoothly.
Expressing his confidence in the committee's capabilities, Raja said, "I am confident that this committee would perform according to the expectations of the leadership." Annamalai is currently in the UK for a three-month educational program, commencing from September.
The committee includes M Chakravarthy, Professor P Kanagasabapathi, M Mruganandam, Professor Raama Sreenivasan, and S R Sekhar. They will work closely with the state core committee to make decisions on party activities. Former Governor of Telangana, Tamilisai Soundarajan, congratulated Raja and emphasized the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in her post on X.
