Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan emphasized the critical need for vaccination awareness among society's vulnerable sections during the release of the book 'World of Vaccinology 2024.' The book, co-authored by Dr. M.I. Sahadulla of KIMSHEALTH and Dr. Sayenna Uduman, aims to educate both medical experts and the general public about vaccines.

Governor Khan highlighted that 'World of Vaccinology 2024' would serve as an invaluable resource, enhancing scientific knowledge on vaccines. He lauded KIMSHEALTH's interventions during the COVID-19 vaccination phase.

Dr. M.I. Sahadulla revealed KIMSHEALTH's plan to introduce the Central Government's cervical cancer vaccination scheme in Kerala, targeting students aged nine to fourteen. He stressed that vaccination remains the most potent weapon against diseases and that immunity is vital for health. This sentiment was echoed by Executive Director E.M. Najeeb, who underscored the importance of adult vaccination in societal health. Dr. Sayenna Uduman also noted that vaccines' effectiveness extends to lifestyle diseases. Dr. G. Vijayaraghavan advocated for the aphorism 'prevention is better than cure' to be intertwined with vaccination efforts.

The event also saw contributions from Dr. Muhammed Niyaz and Dr. A. Rajalakshmi, who introduced the book and welcomed attendees.
