Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya emphasized the holistic vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the Union Budget 2024-25, which seeks to transform India into a developed nation by 2047. Addressing a press conference in Raipur, Mandaviya explained that the Budget focuses on uplifting the poor, women, youth, and farmers.
The Union Budget sets a clear roadmap with key allocations, contrasting sharply with former PM Rajiv Gandhi's unfulfilled slogan of bringing India into the 21st Century. Mandaviya highlighted significant allocations aimed at employment and skill development to support these target groups.
The Budget also addresses the growing needs of the middle class by updating basic amenities. Micro and small industries will benefit from e-commerce platforms. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0 plans to invest Rs 10 lakh crore to meet housing needs, with Rs 1 lakh crore allocated for research and innovation, benefiting the youth directly.
