TCS, India's largest IT services exporter, has bounced back to pre-pandemic levels in terms of the percentage of employees working from offices, confirmed Milind Lakkad, the company's Chief of Human Resources.

Milind Lakkad noted that the shift back to office work took 18 months of intense effort. 'It is business as usual,' he said, pointing out that the current metrics are now almost identical to pre-pandemic figures.

More than 70% of employees are now working in offices five days a week, marking a significant shift from the remote work model necessitated by pandemic lockdowns. Lakkad also discussed TCS's staffing policies, including a commitment to productivity and retaining talent despite industry challenges.
