On Wednesday, Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan introduced the Swami Chatbot, an AI assistant designed to enhance the pilgrimage experience to the Sabarimala temple, by unveiling its logo. The initiative was spearheaded by the Pathanamthitta district administration.

The Swami Chatbot, available through a smartphone interface, provides vital services in six languages—English, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. It disseminates information on temple activities, including security protocols, puja schedules, and details about nearby airports and railway stations, according to an official release.

Functioning with the cooperation of the Muthoot Group, the chatbot ensures timely services from critical departments such as police and forest services, aiming to offer pilgrims a safe and efficient journey. The district administration is committed to using this modern digital system to make the Sabarimala visit more convenient and secure for all devotees.
