In a significant technological advancement, Bharti Airtel announced its new AI-powered system has identified 5.70 crore potential spam calls in just 12 days within the Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh circle. Thirteen lakh spam SMS were also intercepted, showcasing the system's capabilities.

Ritesh Agrawal, the CEO for Bharti Airtel's circle in Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh, reported that the AI system achieves about 97% accuracy in identifying spam calls and messages. This will significantly impact customers, as data reveals that 60% receive three or more spam calls daily, while 90% encounter some form of spam SMS.

This innovation not only promises reprieve from unwanted calls and messages but also serves as a critical tool against cyber fraud for Bharti Airtel's 1.60 crore customers in the region.
