Tragic Drowning Incident: Class 9 Student Loses Life in Madhya Pradesh River

A Class 9 student, Harshit Tiwari, drowned in the Katae Ghat river in Katni district, Madhya Pradesh, after bunking school with friends. Despite efforts to save him, he was declared dead at the hospital.

A tragic turn of events unfolded in Katni district, Madhya Pradesh, as a Class 9 student drowned while taking a bath in the Katae Ghat river. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon under the jurisdiction of Madhav Nagar police station, according to authorities.

The student, Harshit Tiwari, aged 14, had skipped school along with five friends to visit the river. Unfortunately, Harshit became trapped in deep waters soon after entering, leading to his untimely death.

Local residents immediately alerted the police, who rushed to the scene and retrieved the boy from the water. He was transported to a district hospital, but doctors could only pronounce him dead on arrival.
