Ukraine's Daring Strike: Shahed Drone Base Targeted in Russia

In a bold military maneuver, Ukraine's forces launched an attack on a Shahed drone base located in southern Russia's Krasnodar region. The operation, a collaboration between Ukrainian naval forces and the SBU intelligence service, achieved multiple hits, reportedly disrupting strategic Russian assets.

According to Ukraine's General Staff, nearly 400 strike drones were housed at the facility in Oktyabrsky village, where the assault led to secondary explosions. Despite this significant claim, Russian authorities have yet to formally respond to the Ukrainian reports.

The Krasnodar region's emergency services managed to contain a fire that spanned 1,600 square meters in a storage area near the attack site. Additionally, remnants of a drone were discovered in the Shcherbinovsky district but official sources downplayed rumors of a widespread drone assault on Yeysk.
