U.S. designer Tommy Hilfiger unveiled his Spring-Summer 2025 collection with a nautical theme during New York Fashion Week aboard a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry. The vessel, owned by comedians Colin Jost and Pete Davidson, set the stage for Hilfiger's latest designs, which featured plaids, pinstripes, and cable knit sweaters.
Hilfiger explained his choice of venue, saying, "We were thinking we should be on the water or on the boat ... we contacted them (Jost and Davidson), and it just happened to be available." He described the collection as "nautical, preppy, collegiate, all-American, but modern."
Models donned wide-leg trousers, oversized sweaters, flowy dresses, and more, in the brand's signature colors of blue, white, and red, along with shades of grey and pink. New York Fashion Week continues until Sept. 11, with the fashion world then moving on to London for further Spring-Summer 2025 showcases.
