Union Minister Launches DigiYatra Facility at Nine More Airports
Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu launched the DigiYatra facility at nine more AAI-owned airports across India. This initiative aims to provide contactless, seamless processing of passengers using Facial Recognition Technology, further enhancing the Civil Aviation Industry. The initiative has already garnered acceptance from over three crore users.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu on Friday launched the DigiYatra facility at nine additional Airports Authority of India (AAI)-owned airports across the nation.
This initiative includes airports in Visakhapatnam, Patna, Raipur, Bhubaneswar, Goa (Dabolim), Indore, Ranchi, Coimbatore, and Bagdogra, according to an official statement.
Naidu inaugurated the facility physically at Visakhapatnam and virtually at the other eight locations.
Conceptualized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the DigiYatra project aims to offer contactless, seamless passenger processing at airports by leveraging Facial Recognition Technology (FRT).
The Minister highlighted that DigiYatra represents a game-changing technological advancement in the Civil Aviation Industry and has already gained widespread acceptance with over three crore users.
