Telangana's AI Revolution for Sustainable Governance
Recognizing the potential of Artificial Intelligence to drive Sustainable Development Goals, Telangana plans to enhance governmental productivity by over 20% and improve service delivery for over one crore citizens over the next three years. Telangana is set to harness the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to support Sustainable Development Goals and improve service delivery for more than one crore citizens. The state aims to boost government employees' productivity by over 20% within the next three years.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy unveiled the 'AI Powered Telangana Strategy Document and Implementation Roadmap' during the Global AI Summit. The report identifies six critical pillars for creating an AI-driven state. By embedding AI in government operations, Telangana hopes to set a national benchmark for AI-driven governance.
The Telangana AI Mission (T-AIM), in collaboration with Nasscom, will help execute the AI framework. The government also plans to offer subsidized compute capacity for early-stage startups and develop AI models that reflect state-specific nuances, including language and culture, fostering socially conscious innovation.
