Volvo Cars announced on Wednesday that its long-awaited EX90 SUV will be delivered to its first customers before the end of this month, following extensive delays.
The automaker confirmed it is shipping the flagship vehicle to retailers in the United States and Europe, with plans to ramp up deliveries to more markets by the fourth quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2025.
Volvo initially aimed for an early 2024 release but had to postpone due to complications with new software, causing the production and delivery timeline to be pushed back.
