The Jharkhand High Court took a significant step on Tuesday by sending a notice to cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This development comes amid accusations from Dhoni against his former partners Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das, who have become embroiled in a legal dispute over the creation of cricket academies.
Diwakar and Das, serving as directors of Aarka Sports and Management Ltd, initially teamed up with Dhoni to establish cricket academies bearing his name. However, Dhoni alleges that the duo continued this endeavor despite his revocation of their authority in 2021, prompting him to file a criminal complaint.
In his complaint lodged on January 5th in Ranchi, Dhoni claims that the actions of Diwakar and Das have defrauded him of Rs 15 crore. In response, Diwakar and Das have contested the judicial proceedings initiated against them. With Dhoni now summoned by the high court to present his side, the case takes a critical turn.
