The prestigious 2024 Hero World Challenge has officially announced its player line-up, headlined by the world's top golfer and defending champion, Scottie Scheffler. Taking place from December 5-8, the event promises a thrilling showcase of talent at the Albany course.
Hosted by Tiger Woods, this year's tournament will see five of the top 10 global players compete, including previous champion Hideki Matsuyama. Notably, nine members of the United States' 2024 Presidents Cup team and three from the International team, including Matsuyama, Sungjae Im, and Tom Kim, will also take part.
Adding new excitement to the field, six players, such as Ludvig Åberg and Sahith Theegala, will be making their debuts at the Hero World Challenge. Representing seven diverse countries, the competitors include five major championship winners, setting the stage for an exhilarating golf event.
