Tiger Woods is set to debut in the pioneering TGL indoor team golf league on January 14, according to Monday's announcement which detailed the full schedule of its first season in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This tech-infused league will showcase teams in a unique venue with cutting-edge features, including a five-story-high simulator screen.

The 48-year-old Woods, who underwent back surgery in September and has faced injury-related limitations, co-owns the Jupiter Links Golf Club team. This team comprises Woods, Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner. Their first competition will be against the Los Angeles Golf Club, featuring Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Tommy Fleetwood, and Justin Rose.

Before each TGL match, teams select three players for 15-hole contests, consisting of nine holes of three-man alternate shots followed by six holes of singles head-to-head play. The inaugural match on January 7 will see New York Golf Club's team face off against The Bay Golf Club.
