In an impressive display of skill and tenacity, Indian all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy stole the spotlight during his second T20 International match against Bangladesh. Reddy, who has been under the mentorship of coach Morne Morkel, delivered a memorable performance at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium, scoring an explosive 74 and taking two wickets, which significantly contributed to India's massive 86-run victory.

In a conversation with JioCinema post-match, Reddy shared insights on working with Morkel, emphasizing his focus on becoming a consistent bowling option. 'I am working hard on my bowling to evolve as a genuine all-rounder. Morne Morkel is a great coach who boosts my confidence,' Reddy remarked. He also expressed adaptability in his batting order, capable of playing anywhere, which was on display as he tackled spinners aggressively, scoring rapidly against them.

Reddy's IPL journey with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) was also a pivotal aspect of his growth, earning him the 'Emerging Player of the Tournament' title. His contributions, including a high average and strike rate, have reinforced his potential as a valuable all-rounder for India. In the match, after a weak start, India bounced back to set a target of 222, thanks largely to Reddy and Rinku Singh's crucial partnership. Bangladesh's chase faltered against India's bowling attack, culminating in an 86-run victory for India, sealing the series 2-0.
