Chelsea's Ben Chilwell is set to make his season debut against Barrow in the League Cup. The defender, who had been sidelined by manager Enzo Maresca, will get his first minutes since being put up for sale during the close season.

Chilwell, limited to just 13 league appearances last term due to injuries, fell down the pecking order with the arrival of Marc Cucurella. Chelsea, who reached last year's League Cup final under Mauricio Pochettino, have had a mixed start this season under Maresca.

Despite two losses in seven matches, Maresca believes the team is on the right track and aims to deliver better results at home. Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and right back Malo Gusto are also set to feature in the upcoming matches.
