Fans at Stade Louis II were thrilled as Jordan Teze headed in Takumi Minamino's cross early on. Although Daler Kuzyayev equalized in the 30th minute, Monaco regained control with a fine finish by Eliesse Ben Seghir in the 66th minute. Balogun extended the lead four minutes later, assisted by George Ilenikhena.
