President of San Marino's soccer federation, Marco Tura, expressed the mixed emotions during the celebration, noting that the team's improvement can be credited to the San Marino Academy. The Academy's efforts to keep young talent within the republic have yielded significant results.
San Marino now leads Group D1 of the Nations League, paving a promising path with upcoming matches against Gibraltar and Liechtenstein. Tura is optimistic about the future, believing it won't take another two decades for the next victory.
