The series between India and Australia kicks off on November 22, with the first Test scheduled at Perth.

In an interview with Star Sports, Lyon expressed his eagerness to compete against Team India's superstars. He remarked on Ashwin, 'I know Ashwin, and we debuted around similar times. We've squared off in numerous series, and I have nothing but respect for him. Watching him bowl is a privilege—he's a master of off-spin bowling, and playing against him has been enriching.' Lyon also highlighted the excitement surrounding the series, saying, 'It's obviously a massive summer for us out here, so we cannot wait to have the Indian guys out here.'

The second Test, set for December 6 to 10 at Adelaide Oval, will be a day-night spectacle under the lights. The third Test will take place at The Gabba in Brisbane from December 14 to 18. The Boxing Day Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground will unfold from December 26 to 30, leading up to the series' climax at the Sydney Cricket Ground from January 3 to 7.

Lyon's record against India is notable, having taken 121 wickets in 27 Tests at an average of 31.56, including nine five-wicket hauls and two ten-wicket hauls. The series promises intense competition and thrilling cricket. (ANI)
