In a historic moment for football, Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first men's player to score 900 career goals. This milestone was achieved during Portugal's UEFA Nations League match against Croatia when Ronaldo found the back of the net in the 34th minute. Nuno Mendes delivered a perfect cross, setting up Ronaldo to score from close range past Croatian goalkeeper Livakovic. The goal not only marked Ronaldo's personal achievement but also doubled Portugal's lead in their 2-0 victory over Croatia.

Despite recent criticism from football pundits for his performance in the EURO Cup, where he failed to score in five matches, Ronaldo's illustrious career speaks for itself. The Portuguese star began his professional journey with Sporting CP, netting four goals in 28 matches before moving to Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2003. During his six-year stint with the English club, Ronaldo scored 145 goals, establishing himself as one of football's greats.

Ronaldo's career reached new heights after joining Real Madrid in 2009. Over nine years, he scored 450 goals and won numerous accolades, including four UEFA Champions League titles and two La Liga championships. Ronaldo's prowess made him the highest goalscorer in Real Madrid's illustrious history. He later joined Juventus in 2018, where he added 101 goals to his tally before returning to Manchester United. His current club, Al Nassr, has seen him continue his scoring spree with 68 goals in 74 matches, as well as contributing significantly to Portugal's national team with 131 goals.
