Coach Rassie Erasmus has orchestrated these changes to strengthen the team's lineup, with captain Siya Kolisi cleared to play despite a facial injury sustained in their 31-27 triumph over the All Blacks in Johannesburg last weekend. 'Siya had two options—set back his nose now or wait for two weeks. He chose the latter and proved his readiness during training,' Erasmus explained.

The revamped squad sees Le Roux replacing Aphelele Fassi and joining wings Canan Moodie and Cheslin Kolbe. Kurt-Lee Arendse is out due to a concussion, while Makazole Mapimpi is unavailable for selection due to personal reasons. 'We have a long-term plan and Fassi remains central to it,' added Erasmus, emphasizing the team's strategic vision.
