Alvaro Parante of Speed Demons Delhi and Raoul Hyman of Goa Aces JK Racing triumphed in the second round of the Indian Racing League, marking India's first-ever night street races on Sunday.

The 39-year-old Parante faced stiff competition from Bengaluru drivers Sohil Shah and Rishon Rajeev but leveraged his vast experience to secure a win.

Shah briefly led the race before being overtaken by Parante's strategic surge.

Meanwhile, Hyman and Gabriela Jilkova delivered a 1-2 finish for Goa Aces in Race 1, outpacing Malaysia's Alister Yoong who made an impressive climb from P5. The championship standings saw Shrachi Rarh Bengal Tigers lead with 93 points.

In the FIA-Formula 4 Indian Championship, Hugh Barter and Aqil Alibhai both claimed wins. Barter dominated the first race starting from pole, while Alibhai recovered from mechanical issues to win the second race, demonstrating exceptional defensive driving.

These events highlight the rising excitement and competitive spirit in Indian motorsports, setting the stage for an exhilarating season ahead.
