Andre Agassi, an eight-time Grand Slam champion and former World No. 1 tennis player, is set to visit India in January 2025. He will officially inaugurate the PWR DUPR Indian Tour & League, a grand pickleball tour designed to elevate the sport in India.

Agassi, who boasts an illustrious tennis career including eight Grand Slam singles titles and an Olympic gold medal, expressed his excitement through a video message. 'I'm excited to visit India and bring the excitement of pickleball to its fans. I look forward to the PWR DUPR Indian Tour & League and hope it will be a great success in the country,' he said.

Winning teams will earn spots in the DUPR Nationals in the USA, with travel and accommodation costs covered by PWR. Agassi's visit and the upcoming events mark a significant step in bringing professional pickleball to new heights in India.
