Andrey Rublev exhibited his tenacity at the U.S. Open, surviving a grueling five-set match against Arthur Rinderknech. Trailing by two sets, Rublev staged a stunning comeback to secure victory and advance to the third round.

Despite the intense conditions on Court 17, the Russian sixth seed battled back after a lackluster start. Rinderknech initially dominated, but a combination of Rublev's experience and the Frenchman's fading stamina led to Rublev's triumph.

Rublev, known for his fiery temperament, kept his composure in the latter stages, ultimately defeating Rinderknech in four hours and six minutes. He will face Czech player Jiri Lehecka in the next round.
