Australia assistant coach Laurie Fisher has called for patience ahead of the Wallabies' upcoming back-to-back Rugby Championship matches against Argentina. The team opened their campaign with consecutive losses to world champions South Africa.

The Joe Schmidt-coached Wallabies struggled against Rassie Erasmus' side in Brisbane and Perth, leaving them at the bottom of the standings. They now travel to South America to face a Pumas squad that started their competition with a win and a loss against the All Blacks in New Zealand.

Fisher believes New Zealand's Schmidt needs more time to implement the necessary changes to make the Wallabies competitive. "We're six training weeks in under Schmidt, which isn't long when you consider other teams' established styles," Fisher said. He acknowledged the need to focus on progress and the importance of patience.
