Former Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto has inked a two-year deal with newly-promoted Serie A side Como, the Italian club announced on Friday. The ex-Barcelona captain, who began his journey with the Spanish giants at age 14, joined Como as a free agent following the conclusion of his contract with Barca last season.

At age 32, Roberto boasts an impressive record, including seven La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies with Barcelona. He has also represented the Spanish national team 11 times, scoring one goal.

Como, coached by former Arsenal, Barcelona, and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, rejoined Italy's top football division last season after a 21-year hiatus.
