Kartik Singh, at just 14 years old, leads the Indian contingent for the 15th Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship (AAC) to be held in Japan. Singh, currently ranked 199 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking, is the highest-ranked Indian player participating in the event.

Three more Indians—Krishnav Nikhil Chopra, Vedant Sirohi, and Rakshit Dahiya—have received invitations for the prestigious tournament. The event, scheduled for October 3-6, 2024, at Taiheiyo Club Gotemba in Gotemba, Japan, features 113 confirmed players, with a few more names to be added later.

Kartik Singh is also named to the 2024 Junior Presidents Cup team, leading the challenge for India. The AAC champion will earn invitations to the 2025 Masters Tournament and The 153rd Open, while runners-up will secure a place in Final Qualifying for The Open. Past competitors include notable names like Hideki Matsuyama and Cameron Smith, who catapulted their careers through this championship.
