Ace off-spinner Nathan Lyon has already begun his preparations for the upcoming Border-Gavaskar series, focusing on rising Indian batting star Yashasvi Jaiswal. Lyon has gathered valuable insights from England spinner Tom Hartley, adding them to his strategic arsenal.

Jaiswal, known for his remarkable debut century in the West Indies and a stunning 712 runs in the recent home series against England, faces a new challenge on the bouncier Australian pitches. 'I haven't come across him yet, but that will be a massive challenge for all of us bowlers,' Lyon told ESPNCricinfo. His discussions with Hartley, who boasts 20 wickets from four Tests against India, have provided crucial input.

Lyon, a seasoned player with 530 wickets from 129 Tests, believes Australia has a strong chance to conquer their 'unfinished business' against India. He emphasized the wealth of cricket knowledge available and Australia's readiness under Pat Cummins' leadership to reclaim the Border-Gavaskar trophy after ten years. Fellow bowler Josh Hazlewood echoed this sentiment, highlighting the burning desire to turn things around and achieve victory on home soil.
