Dubai-based golfer Rayhan Thomas made a spectacular debut on the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), winning the Coimbatore Open title with a final round of four-under 68. Thomas, aged 24, finished at 14-under 274 for the week, edging out his competitors by one shot.

In an impressive performance, Rayhan started the final round just one shot behind the leader and became only the second player to clinch a title in his maiden PGTI event. Thai golfer Pariya Junhasavasdikul previously achieved this in 2016.

Rayhan showcased his skill, sinking long birdies and overcoming challenges, including a tense moment in a bunker on the 17th. His victory was sealed with a par on the 18th hole. This win is a significant milestone in Rayhan's budding professional career.
