Brazilian striker Evanilson has signed with Bournemouth from Porto in a record-breaking deal worth a reported £40 million ($51.6 million). This marks the highest fee ever paid by the English club.

Last season, the 24-year-old forward netted 13 league goals in Portugal and scored a hat trick in October's Champions League group stage against Royal Antwerp. Evanilson will replace Dominic Solanke, who transferred to Tottenham for a reported £65 million ($83 million).

Bournemouth's chief executive, Neill Blake, emphasized the club's ambition and intent, stating, 'Evanilson is a hugely sought-after striker, and securing him in a record-breaking deal highlights our goals.'
