While financial details remain undisclosed, British media sources estimate the cumulative transfer fee to exceed 50 million pounds ($64.32 million). United added that the contracts allow for a potential one-year extension for both players.
The players originally honed their skills at Ajax Amsterdam under now-United manager Erik ten Hag. De Ligt, 25, boasts a series of league titles across Eredivisie, Serie A, and Bundesliga. Mazraoui, 26, joined Bayern in 2022, making 55 appearances and winning multiple titles. Both players expressed their eagerness to reunite with ten Hag.
