Charlotte Kool, representing the DSM-Firmenich PostNL team, secured her second consecutive victory in the women's Tour de France, narrowly beating fellow Dutch cyclist Lorena Wiebes at the finish line during the second stage on Tuesday.

The race route measured 69.7 kilometers, spanning from Dordrecht to Rotterdam, and featured a landscape filled with typical Dutch scenery, including flat polders, waterside dikes, and World Heritage-listed windmills.

Kool held onto the leader's yellow jersey, now with a 14-second lead over Anniina Ahtosalo of Finland. After a brief rest, the riders face a 6.3-kilometer individual time trial through the streets of Rotterdam in the afternoon.
