Olympic medalists Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh met Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday. The CM hailed their remarkable performances at the Paris Olympics.
Manu Bhaker, who won a bronze in the 10m air pistol event, also met Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at his residence.
Bhaker, partnering with Sarabjot, secured the 10m air pistol mixed team bronze. Bhaker is now the first Indian athlete to win two medals in a single Olympic Games post-independence.
At his official residence, CM Saini congratulated both athletes, natives of Haryana, for their stellar Olympic performances, lauding Manu's talent and Sarabjot's contribution to mixed shooting.
Saini emphasized their achievements as a source of pride and inspiration for the people of Haryana and the nation, giving heartfelt congratulations to both.
