Ghosh was named 'Player of the Match' following her stellar unbeaten knock of 64 runs off 29 balls, achieving a strike rate of 220.69. Her impressive innings included 12 fours and one six.

Reflecting on her performance, Ghosh credited India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur for her guidance during their partnership. The 20-year-old highlighted her initial cover drives as personal favorites. 'Really happy. When I'm playing with Harry di, she guides me on how the ball is coming on. When the opportunity comes, I aim to deliver what I practice. The first four from the cover drive was my favorite moment. I'm feeling good post-concussion,' Ghosh shared.

In a match where UAE chose to bowl first in Dambulla, India showcased formidable batting with Kaur (66 runs off 47 balls, 7 fours, 1 six) and Ghosh leading the charge, taking the team to 201/5. Shafali Verma's supportive 37 off 18 balls also bolstered the score. For UAE, Kavisha Egodage claimed two wickets in her four-over spell, while also contributing with the bat along with skipper Esha Rohit Oza. However, their efforts fell short as UAE managed 127/7, leading to a 78-run defeat. India's Deepti Sharma also impressed with two wickets, aiding the defense of the 202-run target.
