Veteran Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has bid farewell to all forms of cricket, announcing his retirement two years after his last appearance in the national jersey. The seasoned opener expressed contentment and gratitude for his successful career that saw him represent India in all three formats.
Dhawan made his international debut against Australia in an ODI in 2010, and his final game was also a 50-over match against Bangladesh in 2022. Throughout his career, the 38-year-old amassed 6793 runs in ODIs, 2315 in Tests, and showcased his talent in T20Is as well.
