Punjab FC has strategically retained five pivotal Indian players in preparation for the 2024-25 season. Among those who have extended their stay are promising midfielders Ashis Pradhan and Ricky Shabong, seasoned defender Suresh Meitei, and stalwart goalkeeper Ravi Kumar, all signing multi-year contracts.

Ravi Kumar, who has committed to the club until May 2026, made 16 appearances during the last ISL season and secured 47 saves along with three clean sheets. Meanwhile, adept center-back Suresh Meitei, under contract until May 2027, made 14 appearances and contributed one assist, significantly fortifying the defense.

Midfielders Ashis Pradhan, Ricky Shabong, and Manglenthang Kipgen have also re-signed with the club, adding vital energy and creativity to the midfield. Evaluating these extensions, Punjab FC's Technical Director, Nikolas Topoliatis, expressed confidence in the quintet's potential to drive the team's upcoming season towards success.
