Kylian Mbappé finally donned a Real Madrid jersey on Tuesday, achieving a lifelong dream at the packed Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

Nearly 80,000 fans gathered to welcome the 25-year-old French star during his official presentation. After signing a five-year contract with the club alongside president Florentino Pérez, Mbappé received thunderous cheers from Madrid fans as he entered the stage.

Sporting the No. 9 jersey, Mbappé smiled and waved to fans chanting his name, embraced Pérez, and met former Madrid player and coach Zinedine Zidane, who first invited him to the club as a teen.

"It's an incredible day for me," Mbappé told the crowd in Spanish. "Since I was a kid, I dreamed of playing for Madrid, and today I'm here. It means a lot to me." Mbappé's family, club officials, former players, and kids linked to his foundation attended the ceremony, which showcased Madrid's record 15 European Cups.

The message "Welcome, Mbappé" lit up the revamped Bernabeu's screens, while iconic club moments and images of Mbappé's career were displayed. Pérez called it a ''historic act'' for the club, celebrating Mbappé's commitment to wearing the white jersey.

Mbappé joined Madrid after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain ended, having previously played for Monaco. Madrid had pursued Mbappé for years, finally securing him in June over rivals PSG, who had previously rejected a 180 million euro bid.
