In a dramatic turn of events during the final practice for the Dutch Formula One Grand Prix, the session was abruptly halted when Logan Sargeant's Williams crashed and caught fire on Saturday.
Sargeant, who lost control after dipping a wheel onto wet grass, communicated that he was unharmed to his team over the radio. The American driver has yet to score a point this year and faces potential challenges with his car's significant damage ahead of the qualifying round.
Williams' team principal, James Vowles, expressed concerns about the extent of the damage, highlighting that a chassis change might be necessary, jeopardizing Sargeant's participation in qualifying.
