Thrilling Wins at Hockey India Junior East Zone Championship

Odisha women's and Jharkhand men's teams triumphed in their matches at the Hockey India Junior East Zone Championship. The Odisha women's team defeated Manipur Hockey 5-0 while the Jharkhand men's team thrashed Assam Hockey 13-1. The championship saw several other teams vying for dominance with impressive performances.

In a display of sheer dominance, Odisha women's and Jharkhand men's teams secured emphatic victories in their respective matches at the Hockey India Junior East Zone Championship. The Odisha women's team crushed Manipur Hockey 5-0 with goals from Priyanka Kujur, Amisha Eka, Anushka Bhawre, and Drupati Naik leading the charge.

Meanwhile, Assam Hockey women trounced Hockey Bihar 4-0, showcasing brilliance from Ashmita Tigga, Sumitra Swargiari, Ritu Bawri, and Reshma Jagat. Hockey Jharkhand women also shone brightly, outplaying Hockey Bengal 4-1 with stellar performances from Barwa Purnima, Roshni Aind, Pinki Kumari, and Mundu Sukarmani.

In the men's category, Jharkhand unleashed a ruthless performance, annihilating Assam Hockey 13-1. Jolen Topno was the star, netting five times.
