DDA Launches Special Housing Scheme with Big Discounts

The Delhi Development Authority has announced a special housing scheme offering a 25% discount to various groups, including construction workers and disadvantaged populations. This scheme, available until March 31, 2025, aims to provide affordable housing in several key areas of the national capital.

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has approved a special housing scheme that promises substantial discounts for construction workers, auto drivers, women, ex-servicemen, and other disadvantaged groups. With a 25% discount on flats, the scheme targets areas like Narela, Siraspur, and Loknayak Puram.

In a meeting chaired by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, the DDA unveiled three housing schemes, focusing on marginalized communities, including beneficiaries of the PM-Vishwakarma and PM-SVAnidhi Schemes. This initiative also includes flats in Vasant Kunj, Dwarka, and Rohini, with sales available via e-auction and first-come, first-serve basis.

The schemes offer categories of flats—EWS, LIG, MIG, and HIG—across key locations. A policy for changing land use and regulations for setting fuel stations on private land in Delhi was also discussed. The housing initiative marks a significant step in providing affordable living solutions in the capital.
