In a distressing incident on Wednesday, four employees of a construction company sustained minor injuries following an attack on their bus in Jammu and Kashmir's Ramban district. The attack sparked concerns about safety and led to the detention of eight individuals for questioning.
The bus was heading towards a tunneling project in Marog when it was intercepted at Seri by masked assailants. These individuals boarded the bus and assaulted the employees within, authorities reported.
Upon receiving the news, the police promptly arrived at the scene. The injured workers were transported to a local hospital, confirmed Senior Superintendent of Police Kulbir Singh. Singh assured the non-local employees, including an injured engineer from Himachal Pradesh, that safety measures are being bolstered to protect workers in the area.
