The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has refuted claims made by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) suggesting that their leader, Arvind Kejriwal, spearheaded the beautification of a drain area in Dwarka. The DDA announced on Friday that the project was, in fact, executed under the leadership of Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena.

This clarification comes after AAP shared a video on platform X, boasting about Kejriwal's contribution to the project. The DDA responded in a post, stating that AAP's claim was "absolutely false," and the inauguration of the project was conducted by Saxena in February 2024.

The DDA further emphasized that numerous development projects are underway across Delhi, facilitated by their authority, and that it is inappropriate to credit AAP or its figures for these initiatives.
