Monsoon activity is expected to persist across parts of eastern Rajasthan over the next few days. Heavy rainfall is anticipated in divisions like Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer, and Udaipur. Monsoon activity is set to remain robust in many parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days. Key regions such as Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer, and Udaipur divisions may experience heavy rainfall.

Jaipur's MeT Centre Director, Radheshyam Sharma, predicted increased heavy rain activities in eastern Rajasthan starting from September 11. Although some parts of Bikaner and Jodhpur may see moderate rain, border areas will remain mostly dry.

The weather changes are attributed to a depression formed over the Bay of Bengal, which has reached northern Chhattisgarh and is expected to move northwest and weaken by this evening. In the past 24 hours, heavy rain has already been reported in Dausa, Karauli, Sirohi, Dungarpur, Baran, and Sawai Madhopur, with the highest rainfall recorded at 100 mm in Phaloj (Dungarpur).
