Gondia Tops Maharashtra in Achieving Housing Targets for PMAY

Gondia district has emerged as the top performer in Maharashtra, achieving the highest completion rate for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) housing targets for 2022-23. The Zilla Parishad CEO, Muruganantham M, attributed this success to the collective efforts of all stakeholders involved.

The district administration was honored during an event at the divisional commissionerate in Nagpur, he disclosed.

'Out of the set target of 95,261 housing units in Gondia, 93,956 have been completed. Our district has secured the first position in the state component of the scheme, thanks to the collective effort of all stakeholders,' the ZP CEO stated.
