An under-construction building collapsed in Namakarganj on Thursday night, police reported. SHO Subhash Yadav confirmed that several two-wheelers were damaged in the incident.

Fortunately, there is no report of anyone being trapped under the debris. Efforts to clear the site began immediately, with JCB machines pressed into service.
