Five individuals were injured in an explosion caused by a cooking gas leak in Pimpri Chinchwad, near Pune, early Wednesday morning, according to officials.
The incident occurred around 5.30 am in a Bauddh Nagar room where the victims reside, as confirmed by a fire brigade official.
The explosion is believed to have occurred when one of the residents turned on the gas stove, igniting the leaked gas. All injured individuals have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
