Rajasthan experienced a deluge as Hindoli recorded 220 mm of rainfall in a 24-hour period, marking a significant weather event in Bundi and Ajmer districts.
Other regions such as Jaipur, Dausa, Baran, Nagaur, and Jodhpur saw very heavy rain. Localities in Alwar, Sikar, and Bhilwara received moderate rainfalls.
In a dramatic rescue, over 50 people, including school children, were saved from floodwaters by State Disaster Response Force teams in various districts. Weather forecasts predict clear skies until another heavy rain spell is anticipated in the last week of August.
